02
Current information
The programme, site reports, drawings and costs are always up to date.
03

Every query, instruction and decision is recorded, so you can always see why something was done.

Coordination in practice
Managing the interfaces on a complex conversion
Beaumont Mews combined historic features, structural repairs and difficult ground. Each structural decision changed the order of work, what the trades needed to know and when materials had to be ordered.
That’s why we link the programme to responsibilities, information and open decisions, so it stays a working tool throughout the build.

Questions to ask before appointing a project manager
We agree our role and how we report before work begins. We’re based in St Albans and work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London.
What does a construction project manager coordinate?
The programme, the consultants and contractors, decisions, risks and handover. We agree exactly what’s included before we start.
Do we need a project manager if we already have an architect?
Often, yes. Architects design the building; project managers run the project. We look at what your architect already covers and fill the gaps, so nothing is done twice or missed.
Can JBP help with a project already on site?
Yes. Send us the programme, the drawings and the problems you’re facing, and we’ll tell you how we can help.
How will we know what needs a decision?
Through regular reports that show what’s done, what’s next, what’s still open and which decisions could affect cost or time.
