Design, build, and conversion of a Grade II listed property.

02. Challenges

The current building was in a terrible structural state requiring extensive repairs whilst also building new structures around the existing frame. Soil conditions also added to the complexity requiring a full floating RC slab and deep strip foundations. The property is also situated within the greenbelt and in close proximity to an area of high archeological interest.

03. Highlights

The full frontal elevation was made up of curtain walling and the retention of key features such as the original A frames, roof features, greenbelt sympathetic landscaping, flint walls and brickwork floor made the project stand out from a heritage and conservation perspective.
